# Cross-Origin CSRF Protection

New cross-origin request forgery (CSRF) defenses stop malicious sites from making unauthorized requests while you're logged into Probo. 

We’ve added [cross-origin request forgery (CSRF) protection](/docs/deployment/infrastructure-security) across the platform. This prevents malicious websites from making unauthorized requests on your behalf when you’re logged into Probo.

If you’re working with multiple browser tabs open — which, let’s be honest, is always — this ensures that actions in Probo can only come from Probo. One more layer of defense for your compliance data.
