# Filter Tasks by Name and State

Large task lists are easier to scan when you narrow them by task name or state. Search and state filters work in the console and through GraphQL, MCP, the CLI, and n8n, with special characters matched literally. 

When a task list grows, finding one item by scrolling gets old fast. Filter organization and measure tasks by name or state in the console, or apply the same filters through the task-list APIs and n8n node.
